Riddle Me This

I have A few riddles I want top ask you guys and I want to see if you can figure out the answer.

1.What 7 letter word becomes longer when the third letter is removed?


2. A man had twelve toothpicks in front of him. He took one away. Now he had nine in front of him. How is this possible?

3. A rooster lays an egg on a roof. The winds outside are 130 kilometers per hour north by north east. Which was does the egg roll?
